DESIGN AND EFFICIENCY IN ONE COMPONENT UNITED

PARAT Technology and Kramer are setting new standards in plastics processing. A one-piece bonnet made of LFI for a telescopic handler marks the first order from Kramer for PARAT.

The challenge was to take into account the desired shape and properties of the end product, as well as the economic aspects. In close consultation, LFI (Long Fibre Injection) was determined to be the ideal technology. This makes it possible to optimise the stability and complex design of the bonnet.
By using LFI, metal carriers could be replaced by fibre-reinforced plastic, which led to a considerable reduction in weight without compromising quality.
